Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 17, 2023, PureCycle Technologies, Inc. (“Company”) announced that the site of its first European polypropylene purification facility will be located in Belgium, within the Port of Antwerp-Bruges’ NextGen District. The new purification facility is expected to have an annual capacity of 130 million pounds, with opportunities to support up to four processing lines with an anticipated total capacity of approximately 500 million pounds per year (in total for all four processing lines). Construction is currently anticipated to begin in 2024, pending necessary financing.
